Who We Are
“Ascending Angels” is a Player Guild on the Luclin-Stromm Everquest Server. Everquest is a SOE (Sony Online Entertainment) MMORPG (massive multiplayer online role playing game) with 15 years worth of content! We are a well established and ever growing guild primarily for players who, like ourselves, have either played consistently for many years or have left the game for a significant period of time and have recently returned, although all players, new and old are welcome in our guild.
We aim to provide support to new and returned players, to help with levelling, flags, progression & more, to share friendship and information and to create a fun, challenging environment for high level players. We regularly organise guild events including raids. While it is hoped members will participate…participation is not compulsory but voluntary. Please be aware that while we are unable to strictly enforce this, a real life age limit of 18 years + applies to our membership.

Many of our guild members started playing many years ago. Some stayed and some left returning sometimes years later! What these players share in common is a true love of this amazing game and all its varied facets.
All players old and new are welcome in our guild regardless of class or level.
That said, we have found that the “Old Skool” players often have a different mind set to that of some of the more recent players to the game. Characteristics such as respect, courtesy, helpfulness, sharing and caring seem to be less common than perhaps they once were but are highly valued in our guild.
It doesn’t matter to us how long you have played, or even how well you play, what level your character is or what class. Skills and strategies can be learned and characters can be levelled. We have experienced members who can help you with all that. What we value is the character of the player behind the toons! If you possess these attributes you will find a home in our guild.
So what do we offer as a guild?
We won’t judge you for being inexperienced or needing help in adjusting to the changes in the game. There are no dumb questions, at least none that each of us hasn't asked ourselves at some point! We can mentor you in learning or relearning the game and help you with levelling, to get flagged, progression, trade skills and more. We are a fun lot and like to group with one another at every opportunity. More experienced players benefit from a no drama environment of likeminded people and the opportunity to share your knowledge and skills. We have players ranging from 1-100!

- We have a well organised guild with a great team of dedicated Officers who are 100% committed to helping and supporting you so you may fully enjoy our shared experiences of EQ.
- There are organised Guild Events, often set up in response to our members needs. Participation is welcomed but not compulsory. We believe your game time is yours to spend as you choose and we wont expect anyone to attend any guild event unless they choose to do so! That said our DKP rules reward regular and punctual attendance. We have a comprehensive and fair DKP policy and work together as a team to reach our goals. We have a lot to offer both group players and raiders alike.
- Our Guild Bank and guild storehouses are well stocked and if you need a something for your inventory we will endeavour to help you get it. Our members contribute what they can when they can to the Guild Bank and to Guild Tribute. We also have a Guild Bazbot to help raise the plat we need to to help you.
- We are a guild that likes to communicate. We have a Facebook Page and Forum in addition to this site also our guild members have access to the public notes on the roster in game to use as a guild noticeboard! An Ascending Angels Team Speak 3 Server is also available and very well used, especially when we raid! Not only will we keep you informed…we listen too! Let us know what you need, what you like and what you don’t!
- We have our own Ascending Angels Guild Village s 1, 2 & 3 exclusively for use by our membership and Palatial Guild Hall! Houses can be a great added bonus to your bank and bag inventory storage. Great if you are a trade skiller or are working towards the Shawl Aug! Its also a great way to creatively express your unique individuality and to display your trophies!
- As members of Norrathian Council of Guilds we have access to all the benefits of NCG membership, including the right to attend their Raids and use of the NCG chat channels and TeamSpeak Server.
- We support and encourage tradeskillers and have a wide range of tradeskill items in our guild stores. We sometimes hold events to help tradeskillers farm items and we have a number of cultural armourers as we feel encouraging tradeskillers is of benefit to the guild as a whole.
That sounds great, how do I join?
Some guilds have lengthy application processes and will make you jump through hoops, have a minimum level, minimum number of AA's etc.We don't. If you are interested in joining us talk to any of our members in game and have a chat. If you are over 18 and you and our guild seem like a good fit we will guild tag you!
